The example program - storing program to DPS processor

To setup a Master-Slave system the following must be completed:

Assign and burn the unit address to every device memory using the “#A[CR]” command. Network all DPS devices and connect the master “Tx” terminal with all slave “Rx” terminals and ground “G” terminals as shown on the diagram.

Figure 11. RS232 connection:  Tx – Transmitting, Rx – Receiving, Gnd – Ground

Switch ON all DPS devices.

Test the program at the PC level, considering that the PC takes the function of the Master Controller (assuming that the program has already been developed).

If the program works correctly, store the program into the Master DPS memory - see example.

If the Slaves require programming, store the data to each individual Slave’s Table.

To start an application press and hold the "PRGRM" (Program) pushbutton until the LED turns to a blinking orange color.

After all the above is satisfied, the system (Network) should be in operational mode.
